Room layout could use some thought. the mirror tucked in a dark corner makes getting ready awkward, living out of different areas for coffee and fridge essentials felt impractical. Dining options seemed limited with only one vegetarian choice on the restaurant menu, which may not suit everyone, and the breakfast service can be delayed during busy hours without prior notice.

Just a decent option for a weekend pause in Chagford with great value. The location offers stunning scenery with hiking trails right nearby. Try the breakfast but go easy on the toast—it was pretty dry.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the scrumptious breakfast and the cozy lounge area. The garden was a perfect spot to relax as I sipped my coffee, and the sun terrace was a bonus for soaking up some rays. The room was a tad small, but it didn't take away from my overall great experience! 🌞

Our Standard King Room was pleasant and cozy, though a bit on the small side. The en-suite bathroom was modern and clean, which was a big plus. We appreciated the comfy bed—it made sleeping easy! Just a heads up, though, we did notice some noise from the adjoining rooms that could be distracting at times.

Had a great time with friends here! We enjoyed some amazing days fishing and exploring beautiful Dartmoor. The staff was super friendly and the hotel had a lovely country vibe.
